The Samsung LN32D403 is part of Samsung’s 2011 32″ 720 p flat screen tvs. These television sets are a nice mid size offering that operate at sixty hertz. For the technically unschooled, Hertz rate is how quickly the image refreshes and is only really important if you are watching super fast action content like sports.
As such, the Samsung LN32D403 provides excellent image quality for a model of this size in this price range. The colors are true, calibrated at the DVD standards of D6500K color temperature. It provides rich deep contrast and good shadow detail, with authentic colors and even backlighting.
Who Is the Samsung LN32D403 for?
The Samsung LN32D403 is a great budget tv for college students, or an additional tv for the bedroom or kitchen. It can definitely work as a main living room tv as well, but if you plan on having more than a few viewers watching with you, you will probably want to bump up to a slightly larger model.
The Samsung LN32D403 doesn’t hook up to the internet, but it does allow you for easy hook up to your desktop tv for streaming video. It can make an excellent additional computer monitor, calibrates easily, and is reasonably priced.

The Samsung LN32D403 features direct USC connectivity, which allows you to easily plug a flash drive into the monitor to view pictures or videos from your camera or phone instantly.
The Samsung LN32D403 also comes with the SRS Theatersound audio suite. Rather than only providing volume and bass control, this function provides controls for the most commonly voiced problems with tv audio: varying volume levels, hard to hear vocals and flat sound.
This TV also uses a very small amount of power due to the LCD Technology.

The Samsung LN32D403 is available from a variety of retailers around $300. We found the best deal on Amazon. It is one of those items where you have to “add to cart” to see the price, but we went ahead and did that for you. The price in early December 2011 was $277, nearly 21% off the retail price.
While prices on Amazon change, this should give you an idea. It’s a great TV for quite a low price.
